OC Bay Hopper is the only trip in Ocean City Maryland that offers a hands on crabbing experience. We will depart from our 118th street location in Ocean City Maryland. The captain will explain how to find and get crabs from the Assawoman Bay. He will provide and teach you how to use all the necessary equipment. The captain will explain how to hold and measure the crabs so that you can then keep those that are of legal size. You get to keep the legal size crabs to enjoy for lunch or dinner after the trip.

The Bay Hopper will glide you across the water giving you a front row seat to some of the Bay’s most amazing wildlife. At this point, you might reach for one of those delicious snacks you packed for the trip and notice the lights in OC start to pop on. Then, you simply watch the sun melt into the water. At this point you’ll feel so relaxed that you might not be able to keep your eyes open. Once the sun sets, your captain will pilot the Bay Hopper back to our pier and you can start your evening on the town refreshed. Or, you have a couple of more drinks, look at the tv for a while and go to sleep. Either way, you’ll feel good.

This is the perfect trip for foodies looking for something other than the typical day at the beach. You’ll be joined by OC and restaurant aficionado Sandy Gillis. Sandy will be your guide. You’ll then head out for a 3-hour tour of 3 waterfront restaurants. On your tour you will sample delicious foods and tasty cocktails. Depending on your departure point you’ll stop at 3 of the following: Tailchasers, Fager’s Island, The Green Turtle, Hoopers Crab House, Sneaky Petes, Frog Bar. Sandy will fill you in on all the fascinating facts about OC and the restaurants you visit. When this trip is over you’ll have more than just a full belly – you will have also learned a few things.
