Join us for Your Surfing Experience Fun. Ages 7-70. Everyone one books as "adult" Surfing is a unique adventurous San Diego (Oceanside) experience you will enjoy and never forget. You will probably want to return every year as the ocean and waves and you are always changing. The San Diego Surf beach camp is by tower 10 at Oceanside Harbor Beach. You will meet San Diego super friendly staff, who will fit you into a wetsuit, do a safety talk and instructions on the sand. Next our instructors will guide your group into the water where you will be greeted by one of nature's wonderful creations, ocean waves. Now it's time to feel it, fix it, ride it and smile for pics and video, 2 thumbs up your having fun. We set sail on a 45 foot, teak filled sailing yacht- Named, Song of David. One of the largest and most comfortable sailboats in the Oceanside harbor. We cater to guests from many of the five star hotels in the area. We serve an upscale experience with Charcuterie and Champagne as an option. Ask about our three and four hour extended experiences. We set sail and begin looking for dolphins and whales. The bow of the boat has been fitted with a special dolphin seat so that you can actually sit over the top of the playful dolphins below. The memories gained abord the Song of David will last a lifetime.
This tour will take guests through these unique communities in North San Diego County; Solana Beach, Encinitas, Cardiff by-the-Sea and Annie's Canyon Trail. This tour is unique because we will be able to cover nearly 15 miles in 2.5-3 hours on capable and easy-to-use electric bike. All of our bikes have different levels of pedal assist, as well as options for using a throttle. We have bikes suitable for riders 4'11" and taller, but we also have options for children! We have two (2) Rad Power Radwagon cargo bikes which have seats for up to two children. Additionally, we have child seats for children up to 45 pounds that can be installed on our electric bikes. Our tour guides have extensive knowledge of local cuisine, beer and wine options, artisans, art galleries, local surf spots, and so much more. Surfing can be the most incredible experiences. Surfing takes practice, patience, and will leave you with a better appreciation for the ocean. You will meet me down at the beach where I will have the surfboard, leash, and a wetsuit to keep you nice and warm! After going over safety precautions and etiquette about being a beginner surfer, we will begin teaching you proper paddling technique, the pop-up, as well as how to reach the lineup. Once we have gone over the basics on the beach and we practice a couple times on the sand, we are ready to hit the water! I will be with you the entire time, not surfing like so many other instructors do these days. I want your time to be spent truly learning how to surf and not just struggling while I get paid to have fun! I begin my lessons helping new students get into waves to practice their pop-up, giving critique when needed. After a few good practice waves, I usually start "helping" less and less, not pushing you into waves as hard.
I’m an experienced surfer from Encinitas who wants to share the epic experience of surfing with you. I teach lessons for beginners to intermediate surfers. My goal is that you are having fun, feel confident, and fully embrace the unique experience that surfing is. By the end of the lesson you will have surfed some of your first waves as well as gained a greater knowledge of the ocean.
