Hiking and Trails


The park features over five miles of well-maintained trails that weave through manzanita and juniper woodlands and along the banks of Oak Creek. Each trail offers unique vantage points of the park’s famous red rocks, with the Eagle’s Nest Loop providing one of the highest and most breathtaking views. For those interested in a gentler walk, the Kisva Trail meanders close to the creek and is perfect for spotting birds and other wildlife.

Educational programs are a cornerstone of the park’s offerings, with daily guided nature walks and geology discussions provided by knowledgeable park rangers. These programs are designed to enhance visitor understanding of the delicate ecosystem and the natural history of the Sedona area.
