This is a private tour for 1–7 guests. Solo travellers are welcome, with a 2-guest minimum charge. The more guests in your group, the lower the per-person price. Travel at your own pace, enjoy plenty of photo stops, and experience the Highlands without sharing your day with strangers. To give you the best experience without rushing, we offer three route options: Trotternish, Minginish, or Duirinish. Each explores a different part of the island and is planned around nearby attractions and sensible travel times, so you can see more while still enjoying each stop. Whichever route you choose, our aim is simple: a relaxed, memorable day showcasing the scenery, history, and character that makes the Isle of Skye special. Weather, opening hours, private events, or road conditions may occasionally require changes. If so, we'll provide an equally worthwhile alternative.
On this tour you will experience the island life on the biggest island in the inner Hebrides. Leaving Portree, we will travel north to our first stop, The Storr. Up next, is The Kilt Rock. This is a famous sea cliff in north east Trotternish. It is said to resemble a kilt, with vertical ballast columns to form the pleats and intruded sills of dolerite forming the pattern. ( short photo stop ) From here, a short drive will take us to The Quiraing, another amazing rock formation that hold secrets of the past when the locals used to hide from the marauding vikings. Heading south-west we will visit the Museum of Island Life and it's black houses showcasing life on the island hundreds of years ago. Dunvegan Castle is out next stop and lunch break. This was the seat of the chiefs of the clan MacLeod first built in the 13th century and developed over the centuries. On our way back to Portree, if time allows we could make a quick stop to sample some whisky at Seumas bar.

The Isle of Skye is known for its ragged landscapes, picturesque fishing villages and medieval castles. Don´t forget to bring walking shoes with you. One of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the Isle of Skye is Quiraing. (Big coach cannot stop at this attraction; it will be replaced by the Neist Point). On our way back to Portree village we stop at the Old Man of Storr. After this long walk you deserve a rest at Portree village. Your tour guide will take you to a typical restaurant in the area to have some lunch. Once you have recovered your energy, we will visit Portree harbour. Our visit to the Isle of Skye would be incomplete without going to Dunvegan Castle & Gardens. PLEASE NOTE: long walks involved MISSING YOU ALREADY!!
