Tours are my forte. My philosophy is to provide customized flexible tours around Nagasaki for smaller groups. Packaged tours offer no flexibility and a regimented get off get on time requirement and there is nothing more frustrating than waiting for a fellow passenger to come back to the bus on the time allocated. You may stay as short or a long as you like at a particular venue in order to maximize enjoyment. It is this type of tour that will leave you feeling fully satisfied at days end. The Shimabara Peninsula has so much to offer is regards to nature, history and culture. It may be impossible to get to every attraction but you will absolutely see the best sites on offer.

Your guide can recommend local favorites such as Nagasaki Champon and Sara Udon, or other options based on your preferences and dietary needs. With private transportation, flexible timing, and a guide dedicated to your group, you can simply relax and enjoy your day in Nagasaki. Please note: If you have any mobility concerns or specific places you would like to visit, please let us know in advance. We can adjust the itinerary whenever possible.
My tours were born out of the idea of giving people the feeling of being connected with the destination in every facet of the tour. Whether it be from the on board commentary, insights into daily Japanese life, historical and important information of each attraction, cultural experiences, Japanese food and drink tastings as well as personal opinions and facts about what it is truly life to live as an expat in this weird and wonderful country we call Japan. It is my belief that only a private tour consisting of a small numbers of members can create this important connection that will stay with us for the rest of our lives! This tour can be customized and is available for pick ups at Airports, Hotels and Cruise Ship Terminals. Pick ups in Nagasaki will visit attractions within as well as neighboring Saga Prefecture. Likewise, pickups in Fukuoka will feature sites within and including neighboring Saga region. You will not be able to visit Fukuoka from Nagasaki and vice versa.

This is a walking tour using public transportation. This tour offers insights into Nagasaki's unique history and culture, highlighting its past as a center of trade during Japan's period of national isolation and its experience as a victim of World War II's atomic bombings. As the only country to have endured nuclear attacks, Japan's history is profoundly impacted by these events. Guided by a nationally licensed expert, this tour provides valuable insider knowledge and historical context. Stroll through a city where European and Japanese cultures blend, and reflect on historical scenes from that era. The itinerary includes a visit to a site related to wartime history.
